What are your current processing times?
Ink and Scales aims to provide quick customer service and processing. As it stands, our current processing time is 2-3 business days. If there are any delays you will be notified in advance.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards such as: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Shop Pay Installments debit/credit card, and Meta Pay.

Where do we ship to?
Ink and Scales is currently set up to ship anywhere in the United States and International. Please note, if you are requesting international shipping, shipping rates will be much higher. Feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss international shipping before placing a new order.

How does Ink and Scales determine if a book is New or Used?
Ink and Scales tries to provide customers books that are in the best condition. Many of our used books have been donated by other Book Dragons have been kept in the best condition and only have nicks due to shipping from the original seller.

New - We define a new book as books that have been donated but never opened or read. As a result, the binding is still tight and there are no bends or cracks in the spine of the book. The books also do not lay flat and does not remain open. Pages have no marking or dog eared ends. There may be small nicks or dents due to shipping.

Used - We define a used book as books that have bindings that are lose, allowing the book to lay flat and remain open to any page in the book. Additionally, used book may have comments in margins, highlights, flags, dog eared pages, etc. If a book of ours does have any of the above referenced then it will be disclosed on the Items description.

Can I donate used books to Ink and Scales?
Absolutely! If you are clearing out space in your bookshelves, doing some spring cleaning, or simply getting rid of books you no longer wish to keep you can send them to our P.O. Box! We will gladly accept donations as this provides books to our fellow book dragon community! We just ask that you reach out prior to so you have all the correct needed information.

This blog page is set up for fellow book dragons to discuss all things books! Ink and Scales monitors all posts so please be respectful to others.

If I buy the whole series do I get a discount?
Yes! You get 10% off if you buy the whole series. 

Find the series you want, scroll to the bottom of the description and select 'Add Bundle to Cart'* and the discount will be automatically applied. *All titles must be in stock.

What if my order arrives damaged?If your order arrives damaged, please contact us via the Contact Us page with your name, order number and any pictures of the damage and we will reach out to you.

Can I request a specific book if I do not see it available?
You can make requests for titles and/or authors via our Contact Us Page; however, it is not guaranteed. Please include as many details as possible, such as: title, author, ISBN, or whether it's a hardcover or softcover that you're after.
